Converting to a Natural Swimming Pool
Many people are unaware that the conversion of a conventional swimming pool can easily be undertaken with a minimum of cost and disturbance.
There does need to be sufficient space around the pool for the aquatic plant zone or if not the existing pool can be sub-divided provided it is a minimum of 50
square metres. If this is not possible, then a separate plant regeneration pool can be built nearby and this can be an attractive and worthwhile feature to have
in the garden.
A large part of the construction- the excavation, the walls, etc has already been done and in certain situations any existing paving slabs surrounding the pool that
have to be removed can be re-used. This can save considerable time and money and at the same time conserve valuable resources that will help the environment.
